If it were up to me, every student at my high school would have to complete this book with their English teachers. I ordered this book because many of the students at my school read below grade level and need help with organizational and testing skills; it is much better than the other book I purchased. Study Strategies Plus includes help with reading comprehension skills; one of which is summarization. Many students in grades 1-12 as well as adults tend to retell entire stories rather than summarize them in a few statements. If utilized effectively, Study Strategies Plus is a good supplemental resource that can make a difference in students' lives. When you can read, you can do anything.

I received this book as a gift and was really skeptical that it could benefit me so I put it off for a while. I picked it up like 2 weeks later and I was shocked. I never write reviews but this book makes me look at studying differently. I feel like I absorb so much more about what I was trying to learn b4. I was never taught how to "study" but there are methods that make it easier to understand and remember what you read and help you organize your studying habits. I would highly recommend.
This book is a must-read for students and career-minded individuals who want to sharpen key skills necessary for success. Study Strategy Plus is well written and keeps the reader interested and focused. The book will help you figure out how to stop falling into the same old traps when preparing for a test or presentation, or when reading for work or school. I highly recommend the book.
