I really like this book, but warning it is not a how to it is simply to give you Hope. If you want real blow by blow of changes as far as what someone ate or didn't eat or if they used Apple Cider Vinegar, raw honey, gave up soy products or stopped eating out or drank more water or started yoga etc you are better off going to forums in earthclinic.com or baby and bump just to name a couple.
This is just what I needed. Everyone that has ever suffered the trail of infertility all has one true thing in common. We are all searching for, “Hope.†My hubby and I have been in this race for parenthood for over 16yrs now. Hope in our God’s blessings is what has kept us strong and continue to keep us going, but sometimes the days get harder to endure.Reading this book was life for me. Only God himself knew how much I needed to pull from the strength of my sisters out there that knows my pain and struggles. I too have fibroids and all the horrible symptoms that comes with it. Sisters, this is what you need to not feel alone in this journey. I was able to feel myself in every woman’s story in this book. Their success in becoming mothers help give me the extra kick I needed. Especially when I was feeling pretty low. I was graced to come across this story while googling something entirely different from the subject. Therefore, I knew it was God’s will I find this book and open my heart to encouragement. I’m grateful I was obedient.I now look forward to own success story as it is not yet completed. To all the ladies that took the time to put together a book of hope by sharing some of the most difficult times in your lives, thank you so very much. May God continue to bless you all and please, say a prayer for me. Thanks again!
This was such a captivating book that revealed the journeys and strong faith of everyone involved or mentioned. It's very relatable as I saw a little of myself in many of the stories written. As someone who has been struggling with fertility issues for the past 11 years with a few surgeries and many fertility treatments to no avail, this book has renewed my faith and given me hope. Sometimes you can feel isolated with this whole process but this book makes you realize that you are not alone. I have been encouraged to remain hopeful and patient in my dream of becoming a mother some day and this is why I chose 5 stars in my rating/review. I would recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with infertility issues and losing hope of his/her dream of becoming a parent. Thank you Gessie for sharing your story and renewing our hope in our own journeys.
I had been struggling with concerns of my fertility when I visited a doctor when I tried to conceive for two months but told that was too soon to determine if I was infertile. Although we were not deligent we were not preventing either that was in 2012 and we were not even married as yet. Fast forward to 2014 we were ready to get married and I had not conceived yet so decided to get an opinion from a different doctor who told me I had fibroids, news which I did not expect. He told me the type I had was possibly blocking implantation and I would need surgery to remove them. Anyway I decided to switch doctors yet again and this time a woman who said not to trouble them because they were not that large. We got married and after 8 months conceived after two cycles of fertility treatments and things progressed well into the 18 week. Where we lost our baby due fibroid degeneration. I don't blame my doctor but no one knows how fibroids will react during pregnancy but I am bitter jealous worried angry and in search for hope on my journey to motherhood which I thought would have been in December of this year only to be cut short in July when we were half way there. I must admit I struggle with the thought of having the sir to remove the fibroid tumours but will heed the advise of my doctors who recommend to remove and try again next year. This journey has truly tested our faith in God and marriage in the first year of our marriage as our hopes and dreams and happiness turned into devastation half way through th year and half way though our pregnancy. This book has helped me to see that although uncommon my journey is not unique it is just not spoken about openly. I pray that my happy ending is one day soon and I thank Gessie for being open and frank in her disclosures of infertility struggles and fibroids. Thanks Gessie
Hope Beyond Fibroid is a great read!!! To witness the mercy and goodness of God in these women is a testimony of God's faithfulness. Each testimony expresses the ways and thoughts of God in so many ways. Often times, we think God will deliver the same way he did for someone else, but HE always show himself strong in so many creative ways and this is what I love about God and this book!!! Powerful, this hits close to home for my wife and I. Far too many struggle with child bearing and do not realize they are not alone and need not go through it alone. This book indeed provides hope through education.
This book answered a lot of questions I have. It has now motivated me even more even to get started on the 90 day journey with Gessie and her team.
I have fibroids and this book was just what I needed to learn more about them.
